e.l.l.a. stands for this simple acronym:
ELEVATE. LISTEN. LOVE. APPRECIATE.
For the past six years, e.l.l.a., the female centric music festival hosted in Orlando, Florida, has called to the community to celebrate and embrace the feminine idea. This year, ella organizers can proudly say that they are one of the only home grown initiatives in Central Florida that has proudly supported and embraced local and regional female musicians and talent without hesitation. The all female musician based festival has continually grown since its inception in 2007, each year gaining more support and momentum for its soul initiative: To elevate female artists’ and musicians to a place where they garner the respect, attention, and recognition that they duly deserve.
The goal of e.l.l.a. is to bring an audience into an environment that celebrates the new and the old – all coming together within the inspiration and camaraderie that can only be found in a space that celebrates the local grass roots music scene that e.l.l.a. so enthusiastically fights for.
Our hope is to support our State’s already talented and hard working female performers, musicians, writers and visual artists. We as the organizers hope that this festival experience and more importantly what it celebrates will inspire the attendants to take the time to say thanks to the very important women that have made a difference in everyone’s lives.
We as the festival producers pride ourselves on Ella’s family oriented reputation and its laid back atmosphere. This festival is about peace and harmony. Our relationships with the vendors, musicians, venue operators and of course the attendees have all left a positive impact. We are here to build outstanding community relationships.
Thank you for all the years of support. We look forward to many more years and to a great 2012 fest!
