I must say that this year was an overwhelming experience. I am amazed each year by the talent, support, and purity in community energy that ella receives. I am grateful for the opportunity to show the public how awesome people can be, and how extremely talented the women that create art in this city and State are.
Each year the festival evolves into a beautiful being that expects nothing more than a moment in your life to show you what love and support can be like. Each year ella’s audience is privileged to experience not only amazing music, but poetry, dance, performance art, powerful speakers, yoga, handcrafted goods, visual art, and a warmth that caring people give off.
This year was no exception to what you may expect from the performances that you’ve come to love at ella. The ella veterans (those that have performed every year) Sunny, The Actomatics, and Sarah Purser all brought something new to our stage. Sunny with her dance studio and her beautiful performance of Procrastination, The Actomatics holding down the entire evening with this years Kick-off event, and Sarah being the ella hostess with the most-est.
